Mam!!!
What can I say, except that I love you very much and always miss you.
My greatest regret is that you did not live to meet my children. You would have been so proud of them.
Gillian has a lot of your characteristics, although she has a figure more like Aunty Mary's.
Michael has your colour of eyes and is particular, just like you.
Alistair is more laid back, but is very thoughtful.
All of them have your musical ability and are good singers, just as you were.
Our home was always warm and you welcomed our friends and family whenever they came, even at the most inconvenient times. You were always prepared and ensured that there was enough to feed anyone who turned up.
You never complained, even though at times you must have been in agony.
Even when you had double pneumonia when we lived at Valley Road, you never complained, but only wanted to see us all.
You were always decorating, even finishing the living room just a week before you died.
You went on your last Chapel trip on ~Whit Monday, but even though you were in a lot of pain, you wouldn't turn back as you didn't want to let anyone down.
The Sisterhood and the choir and chapel were your life long commitment and you liked nothing better than entertaining people.
Your talents, included acting in and writing sketches and producing the plays along with Aunty Amy and others.
I would have loved you to live a lot longer, but I would not have wanted you to suffer any more.
I believe that you are now with Nanna, Aunty Florrie, Aunty Mary, Alan, Dad, and all your brothers and sisters who died so young.
I will always love and remember you Mam.
Love from Joyce and Joe, and Family.
